Seema Malhotra is the founder of global fashion brand Forever Unique and the Star of Real Housewives of Cheshire. We caught up with Seema to find out more about filming and her daily life.

Hey Seema! How has your week been?

Hey, my week has been hectic as always! We’re in the middle of designing and creating new collections for my fashion brand Forever Unique and I am well and truly in the middle of filming with the Real Housewives of Cheshire. It’s always crazy but great, I love what I do and the people I do it with.

What can we expect from the next series of Real Housewives?

Expect some BIG surprises, tears, tantrums and a whole lot of laughter! I’ve actually really enjoyed this series, it’s definitely the best one yet!

As a business-minded person, how did you end up joining the show?

I was actually approached a few years ago but it just wasn’t the right timing. Then I was approached again at a charity event and after much thought, I decided to go for it! I love a new adventure and I thought it would be a brilliant platform to showcase Forever Unique.

How would you describe a typical day in your life?

It always starts with a healthy breakfast and gym session to start the day fresh and with a clear mind. I usually work my way around the office and love working with my design team and mapping out new collections. I am definitely the creative one and my husband is the numbers guy which is why it works so well. My husband and I are always on the go and working on the brand but we do love to finish the day off with a homecooked hearty dinner with my boys and a glass of red.

What advice would you give to people wishing to create their own business?

I would say that you have a dream, you should do everything in your power to pursue it. I believe in hard graft and I think anyone can accomplish a business, or a new venture if you believe in yourself.

Who is your biggest inspiration?

My biggest inspiration is my mum. She has taught me everything and is the strongest woman I know by far. I think without her life lessons, I wouldn’t be where I am today. She has taught me, my brothers and my children to have respect for one another, be moral, thankful and grateful for what you have.

My second inspiration is Victoria Beckham. She is a brilliant mother of 4 and has also pursued her dream of being a designer in the fashion world. I think she is everything I aspire to be and a strong-minded woman.

How would you describe your relationship with your co-stars?

I have a good relationship with the girls but I am closer to some than others. I think we’re all very strong, opinionated women so we’re bound to disagree in some things- it’s only natural. To be honest, I’m not a very confrontational person and I don’t like to hate. I think it’s normal to form bonds with people and it’s healthy to have a little conflict sometimes. I just try to keep it real.

What is your favourite way to relax after a long day?

I think a yoga session to clear the mind, followed by a tall glass of red wine and some chocolate with my husband, two sons and gorgeous dog, Milo.

How can fans of the show keep up to date with your news?

To keep watching the show and follow mine and Forever Unique’s social channels.  I try to document as much as I can via those platforms, especially Instagram. There is so much fun to look forward to including Forever Unique’s 10th anniversary this year which is hugely exciting! Stay tuned via @seemaforeverunique and @foreveruniqueofficial
